Aceternity UI
Actively usedAnimated React components for landing pages — copy-paste blocks built with Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion, with Next.js and dark mode support.
About Aceternity UI
Aceternity UI is a set of animated React components aimed at landing pages. The blocks are built with Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion, work with Next.js, and support dark mode. You copy the code in rather than installing a package, so what you ship is yours to edit. A marketing page needs motion to read as current, and hand-building that motion is disproportionate work for a page you may rewrite next quarter.
It is in active use here, on marketing surfaces. We use it for hero sections, scroll effects and section-level motion on landing pages — the places where a completely static page reads as dated. We do not use it inside product UI, and that is deliberate. Animation that makes a landing page feel alive makes a dashboard feel slow.
Magic UI is the closest comparison and covers much of the same animated-block territory. 21st.dev is broader and less animation-led. shadcn/ui is the right base when you want unopinionated primitives and intend to add motion yourself. Motion.dev or GSAP are what you use when the animation is bespoke enough that a component set will fight you. Aceternity UI is right for a landing page that has to look alive this week. It is wrong for product interfaces, where the same effects turn into bundle weight and noise.
