Multifactor

Secure account sharing for humans and AI — unified vault for passwords, passkeys, 2FA, OAuth; share access without revealing credentials; AI agent with isolated cloud browser.

About Multifactor

Multifactor is secure account sharing for humans and AI. It is a unified vault for passwords, passkeys, 2FA and OAuth, built so access can be shared without revealing the underlying credential, and it includes an AI agent that operates in an isolated cloud browser. It targets the problem every team hits: shared logins get pasted into chat, and you cannot revoke what you cannot see.

We track it closely without running on it. The part we care about is delegated access for agents — letting an automation use an account without handing it a password it could leak. That is unsolved in most stacks. We list Multifactor as the option we are watching for it, not as something in our critical path.

1Password is the established team vault and the safe default if your problem is humans sharing logins. Bitwarden is the open-source pick and the one to look at if you want to self-host. Dashlane and Keeper cover similar ground. HashiCorp Vault is a different animal — machine secrets and rotation, not human accounts. Multifactor is the wrong call if you just need a password manager; the incumbents are more proven. It is interesting specifically where agents need scoped access to real accounts. Read the terms on how credentials are held and revoked before routing agent access through any of them.
