CodeRabbit
AI code reviews for pull requests, IDE, and CLI — codebase-aware diffs, linters and security scans, learnings from feedback, and one-click fixes for faster merges with fewer bugs.
About CodeRabbit
CodeRabbit runs automated review on pull requests. It reads the diff with context from the surrounding codebase, runs linters and security scans alongside its own comments, adapts to reviewer feedback over time, and offers fixes you can apply in one click. It also works from the IDE and the command line, so the first pass can happen before a change is ever pushed.
We track it rather than run it. We list it as the option for teams where the review queue is the bottleneck — typically a small number of senior reviewers gating everything, with pull requests ageing in the queue.
GitHub Copilot code review is the path of least resistance if you are already on GitHub and want fewer moving parts. Greptile covers similar codebase-aware ground and is worth comparing directly. Graphite when the real problem is the review workflow — stacked changes, smaller diffs — rather than the comments themselves. Qodo for review with a stronger emphasis on generated tests. Semgrep and Sonar are a different category and not a replacement: deterministic static analysis is still the right mechanism for rules you must actually enforce. Where this goes wrong is predictable — an AI reviewer is a first pass, not a reviewer, and if your team already scrolls past CI comments, another bot will not change that.
