Recall.ai
Unified API for meeting data — transcripts, MP4 recordings, participant metadata, and calendar enrichment via meeting bots, desktop/mobile SDKs, and integrations with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack, and Webex.
About Recall.ai
Recall.ai is a single API for meeting data. It pulls transcripts, MP4 recordings, participant metadata and calendar context out of Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack and Webex, either through bots that join the call or through desktop and mobile SDKs that capture locally. The problem is real: every conferencing vendor has a different API, bot policy and recording model, and building against five of them is a project rather than a feature.
We track it rather than run it. We list it as the option for products that need to be present in customers' meetings — call copilots, note-takers, or giving an agent memory of what was actually said.
AssemblyAI or Deepgram if you already have the audio and transcription is the only gap. The native Zoom, Google or Microsoft APIs directly when you support one platform and would rather not add a dependency. Symbl.ai for conversation intelligence rather than raw capture. Fireflies or Otter when you want finished meeting notes rather than infrastructure to build on — plenty of teams reach for an API when a product would do. The constraint that actually decides this one is not technical: recording consent, notification requirements and data residency vary by jurisdiction, so read the terms and check your obligations before building on any of it.
